Dr. Etesse letter of introduction
Dear SFD Family,
Most of you are aware that the past two years or so have been rather challenging for my mom and I from a personal standpoint since Dr. Kauffman had to step back from the practice to care for my aging grandmother and ailing dad until their passing. Her goal had been to potentially return to work in a more supportive capacity, however, after my sister’s untimely sudden death from a brain aneurysm, she decided she needed to finally take some much earned time for herself and give up her beloved patients and the field of dentistry.
While I wholeheartedly supported her decision, it left me with the daunting task of finding a suitable replacement, someone who excels not only at the clinical level, but who also demonstrates the empathy, compassion and caring that mom always had for her patients. I am delighted to say that after an exhaustive search, I have found such individual. Allow me to introduce to you Dr. Charlotte Etesse.
Dr. Etesse earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and continued her studies at the UCLA School of Dentistry receiving her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She graduated Cum Laude and received multiple departmental awards and honors. Once you get to meet her, you will understand why she was worthy of so many accolades. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society and Academy of General dentistry.
Since her graduation, she completed a residency at the Veteran’s Administration and has been in private practice in Los Angeles. Dr. Etesse will be relocating to San Diego where she plans to wed her fiancé in the late fall. She is excited to join our wonderful practice and become an integral part of our beloved community.
Dr. Etesse and I share similar philosophies in our approach to patient care and treatment and I know that you will appreciate her gentle touch as well as her passionate and conservative approach to dentistry. The team and I are really looking forward to working alongside her and I hope you will help me welcome her to the SFD family with open arms.
With my warmest regards,
Michelle Sandler, D.M.D.
